Don’t miss the Green River Rendezvous Pageant on Sunday
Sunday, July 13th, 1 pm, Pinedale Rendezvous Grounds
July 11, 2025
The Green River Rendezvous Pageant Association proudly celebrates some of the pivotal moments and people in the fur trade era with the Green River Rendezvous Pageant, in which local participants re-create an authentic rendezvous in original costume. The hour-long performance with more than 70 local participants in full authentic costumes gives a lively, historically accurate performance of this unique time in Sublette County and American history. See mountain men, Indians, pony dancers, antelope soldiers, horse-drawn wagons, Jim Bridger, William Sublette, William Drummond Stewart, artist Alfred Jacob Miller, the first missionaries and their white women wives who came to rendezvous, and hear the story of who attended the fur trade rendezvous on the Green.
The Rendezvous grounds for the Pageant program are located on the hill just south of Pinedale on Hwy 191, adjacent to the rodeo grounds. Take the rodeo grounds road and go up the hill. Behind the rodeo grounds you'll see the big bleachers and Fort Bonneville replica.
Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for seniors and children under age 10. We highly recommend heading up early and enjoy the great BBQ lunch by the Pinedale Lions Club. The cast of the Pageant will also be in the Rendezvous Parade on Saturday at 10AM down Pine Street.
