The Pinedale Fine Arts Council is proud to present country recording artist and army vet Bryan Ragsdale performing live at the American Legion Park on Thursday, Aug. 27 beginning at 4:00 p.m. The show is free to the public and will serve as the August Chamber Mixer, a monthly showcase of local businesses presented by the Sublette Chamber of Commerce. Food and refreshments including hot dogs, beer and ice cream floats will be provided free! Plus, PFAC will have information and materials on hand highlighting the upcoming season, school residencies and volunteer opportunities.

In the event of rain, the show will be moved to the Sublette County Visitors Center.
Celebrating the lifestyle, values and love of wide open spaces "Where Cowpokes Grow", the name of his latest independent CD, the Wyoming born and raised singer/songwriter Bryan Ragsdale redefines "cowboy cool" for the modern world with an upbeat mix of country, bluegrass, folk and a little old fashioned cowboy swagger for good measure. Through RCI Music in Franklin, TN, Ragsdale recently released the collection’s high spirited debut single "Modern Day Mountain Man", about a city slicker’s relocation from New York City to "old Wyoming", to over 500 Americana, Country and College Radio stations across the U.S. On the competition based website www.ourstage.com, the track reached 2 in both the bluegrass and traditional country genres for two months each. "Wyoming Melody", the title track from his 2007 debut album "Wyoming Melodies", was the theme song for a TV show called "All Girl Getaways" on the Fine Living Network; the show was about the Ranger Creek Dude Ranch in Wyoming. Ragsdale performs over 200 shows a year!

If you can’t make it to Thursday’s show, Ragsdale will also be performing a number of other shows in Pinedale. On Friday Aug. 28, he will perform for kids at the Pinedale Library beginning at 10 p.m. The kids show is free to everyone and will be tailored for the younger audience. Also on Friday Aug. 28, Ragsdale will perform for seniors and the community at Rendezvous Pointe beginning at 12:00 p.m.

Bryan Ragsdale Live in Pinedale is presented as a free event by the Pinedale Fine Arts Council and the Sublette County Chamber of Commerce (though donations are greatly appreciated). The Town of Pinedale and the Sublette County Recreation Board also helped support this event. As this is a park setting, please feel free to bring a chair, cooler and don’t forget sunscreen!
