Town of Pinedale Lodging Tax Election May 4
Polls open from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM for lodging tax voting. Municipal election poll hours are 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM

TOWN OF PINEDALE LODGING TAX ELECTION
SUBLETTE COUNTY, WYOMING

LODGING TAX ELECTION DAY: Tuesday, May 4, 2010, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

LAST DAY TO REGISTER TO VOTE: Monday, April 5, 2010.

ONLY QUALIFED ELECTORS, LIVING WITHIN THE LIMITS OF THE TOWN OF PINEDALE, SHALL VOTE IN THIS ELECTION. THE PINEDALE TOWN HALL WILL BE THE ONLY POLLING PLACE FOR THE LODGING TAX ELECTION.

VOTER REGISTRATION WILL BE PERMITTED AT THE POLLS ON ELECTION DAY, TUESDAY, MAY 4, 2010. A WYOMING DRIVERS LICENSE OR A PICTURE FORM OF IDENTIFICATION AND PROOF OF RESIDENCY WILL BE REQUIRED.

IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT YOUR VOTER REGISTRATION AND POLLING PLACE, PLEASE CALL YOUR COUNTY CLERK’S OFFICE.

PROPOSED BALLOT PROPOSITION
Shall the Town of Pinedale be authorized to impose a 3% lodging tax on hotel, motel, tourist courts, trailer parks, campgrounds, short term condominium rentals and similar establishments providing sleeping accommodations to transient guests as permitted by Wyoming Statute 39-15-204?

CAMPAIGN FILING REQUIREMENTS

EVERY Political Action Committee shall file a Statement of Receipts Only Report by April 27, 2010, and a Statement of Campaign Receipts and Expenditures by May 14, 2010.

POLLING PLACE ACCESSIBILITY

If you require assistance to vote by reason of blindness, disability, or inability to write, you may be given assistance by a person of your choice. If you have questions regarding the accessibility of your polling place, please contact your County Clerk.

ABSENTEE VOTING

Any person who expects to be absent from his place of residence on Election Day, or who cannot be present at his precinct polling place on Election Day because of illness, injury, disability, old age or tenets of religion, may apply for an absentee ballot in person, in writing, by email, or by telephone, at the Office of the County Clerk, 21 S. Tyler, P.O. Box 250, Pinedale, WY 82941, 307-367-4372 or 307-276-3827, maryl@sublettewyo.com. Absentee ballots may be requested through May 3, 2010, at your County Clerk’s Office.

Note that the Town of Pinedale will also be holding their municipal elections on Tuesday to elect for the positions of Mayor and to fill two Town Council seats. Hours to vote for the Municipal elections are slightly different, from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Pinedale Town Hall.
