BLM Pinedale Field Office to hold Wildlife Annual Planning Meeting Oct. 26th
by Bureau of Land Management
October 14, 2011

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Pinedale Field Office (PFO), in coordination with the Pinedale Anticline Project Office (PAPO), will hold a Wildlife Annual Planning Meeting (APM) on Wednesday, Oct. 26 at 8:30 a.m. in the PFO Rendezvous Room at 1625 W. Pine St. in Pinedale.

As directed in the 2008 Pinedale Anticline Project Area (PAPA) Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (SEIS) Record of Decision (ROD), an APM for PAPA development is to be held annually. An additional APM for wildlife was established in 2010 to coincide more closely with the availability of wildlife data and to allow for a deeper and more efficient discussion of wildlife issues.

Topics for the APM will include wildlife monitoring results, an update on SEIS ROD Matrix species, a summary of operator reclamation activities, a Sublette Mule Deer habitat assessment and discussions on well pad spacing and expansion as well as adaptive management.

The meeting is open to the public and there will be an opportunity for public comment.

Additional information is available at www.wy.blm.gov/jio-papo, http://www.blm.gov/wy/st/en/field_offices/Pinedale/anticline.html or contact PAPO Project Coordinator Eric Decker at 307-367-5386 or egdecker@blm.gov.
