Candidate forum in Pinedale Oct. 28th
For Commissioner, Sheriff and County Clerk contested races
by Pinedale Online!
October 27, 2014
There will be a candidate forum on Tuesday, October 28th starting at 7:00PM in the Lovatt Room of the Pinedale Library. The forum will focus on three contested races in Sublette County: Sheriff, County Commissioners, and County Clerk.
The forum is being sponsored by KPIN 101.1 FM Radio, the Pinedale Roundup, the Sublette Examiner, and Pinedale Online! The forum will be broadcast live on KPIN 101.1FM Radio. Audio of the forum will be posted on Pinedale Online soon afterwards for anyone who was not able to hear the radio broadcast.
Anyone who would like to send in a question for the candidates can email it to firstname.lastname@example.org. Questions will be taken in advance and during the forum. Due to limited time, not all questions may get asked, and sometimes several people ask variations of the same questions, so they may be combined into one question. In order to be accepted, questions must relate to duties the candidate would be involved with in the course of their duties of office (for example, questions asking about their stance on abortion won’t be asked).
The forum will last until about 9:30. Candidates will be available before and after the forum to answer questions one-on-one.
Election day is Tuesday, November 4th. Anyone who will not be at their polling location on election day can vote early by absentee ballot by going to the Clerk’s Office in the Sublette County Courthouse up until election day. Anyone not yet registered to vote can register at the polls on election day.
