Here are three new videos taken mid-October of antelope and deer on the Trappers Point wildlife bridge over US 191 just west of the Cora Junction, between Pinedale and Daniel, Wyoming. Large numbers of pronghorn move north through this point in March and April and south in September and October. This year the big snow on the night of Sunday, October 16th (14") caused a big surge in the numbers that moved through over the next several days. There is a webcam mounted on a pole on the bridge that takes photos and video of the activity crossing the bridge. Camera administrators can also go in and manually control the webcam to monitor the activity. The photos and video are used to help wildlife biologists with research of the pronghorn migration movement patterns. Many more pronghorn move across this overpass bridge than deer. During the spring and fall, cattle operations can also be seen using the Trappers Point area.
